Physical Fitness


Central to KAYM1 community services’ main objective is the notion of NDIS participants’ optimal physical health and improved livability. Physical fitness is a NDIS exercise-based support plan providing education and advice to enhance health and wellbeing and increasing your fitness and endurance. Our professional fitness coach and exercise physiologists are adequately skilled and knowledgeable to help NDIS participants maintain their function and maximize their independence. We give expert assistance with the following services:

  • Gait/ walking pattern and transfer training
  • Improving grip and dexterity and coordination
  • Improving strength and flexibility
  • Pain reduction/ control
  • Management of joint pain and/ or injury rehabilitation
  • Improving posture
  • Chronic pain management
  • Improving your metabolic wellbeing, including weight loss, diabetes control and kidney disease management
  • Decreasing symptoms of anxiety and/or depression
