As the name suggests short-term accommodation is an NDIS support plan intended for when you need to fly the nest and stay out of home for a short period. The overarching function of short-term and respite accommodation is to assist NDIS participants to pursue their goals and participate in community, and give space to their caregivers and their usual support network to take a break. By employing this service, NDIS participants can turn their hand to something new, meet new people and make contacts, and build new skills. We provide the following services:
- Personal care and increased-independence
- Short-term in-home and out-of-home care services
- Emergency respite, planned respite, and supported independent living for children and families
- Supported individual needs when your usual support network isn’t available
for a short period - Care after a hospital stay
